Flower Preservation Artist

I am located in the United Kingdom in Walton on Thames in Surrey, but I preserve flowers from across the country. I only accept orders from the UK.

The sooner I receive the flowers after the event, the better they will look in your product! Special or recorded delivery is best, I always provide information on how to send these when an order is placed.

No! I also work with memorial flowers and air dried flowers from a while ago but any flowers will work. Get in touch if you have other ideas, as I always love to change things up.

I can work with fresh flowers or pre-dried flowers. I can also add in extra items into the resin so please feel free to ask about this.

If you do not require the drying process of your flowers, we can offer a 10% discount to your resin keepsake.

It is a bespoke service but depending on the flowers you have will depend on the product you can go for. Some flowers work better in resin while others may not. Please take a look at the terms and conditions as I have explained this a bit more in more detail. If you are still unsure, please feel free to get in touch to discuss. The more colourful your bouquet is, the better the flowers will look.

If you live locally to me and are able to hand deliver your flowers and collect, I am more than happy to hand the ones I don't use back and if they are salvageable, but if I am sending them back in the post, this will come at an extra cost as it will be a separate package and there will be a risk to them getting damaged in transit. Please discuss with me if you wish for your flowers to be returned or I will dispose of your flowers as soon as the process has finished. I only use the best preserved options only, so it might be that the others may not have completed the drying stage and therefore not look as great as the preserved options.

I can accommodate to large orders but this is not always the case, please communicate with me what you will like and we can discuss the process.

The process can take up to 6 months (dependant on how busy I am and what you have ordered), though during busier periods the timeframe may be a little longer so that I can honour each stage of the process.

I use a high quality UV resistant resin for all my products, but unfortunately, resin products can turn yellow over time and even quicker when in direct sunlight. The resin I use is the UK’s favourite resin and they pride themselves as anti-yellowing which one of the resins key qualities.  Care instructions will be provided to you.

I will post them back to you in protective packaging so they arrive in the best condition and care instructions will also be provided.

These products are handmade and so will never be factory perfect! I cant stress this enough but I will always honour each stage of the process to allow enough time to take the utmost care in every product I make.

I work with funeral flowers and can incorporate memorial ash and even photos of loved ones. Please discuss your ideas with me and we can work together on the design.

Handmade rather than factory can never be completely perfect, I will always do my best to minimise any imperfections but there may be some such as bubbles, dust, uneven edging or small micro cavities. The larger blocks will also have layer lines due to being poured in multiple layers which is unavoidable and only noticeable from a side view. 

All shapes are designed to be displayed forward-facing. The sides of the shapes will not be as shiny as the front, which is classed as a sign of a handmade item.  Some items may also have an uneven back due to the flowers being too large for the moulds but this wont be noticeable from a front angle. 

By ordering, you are accepting of these conditions. 

I use a high quality UV resistant and heat resistant resin for all our products, but unfortunately, it is not guaranteed that all resin products won't turn yellow over a long period of time. This can happen even quicker when care instructions are not followed. You will be given care instructions when you order.

I cannot take any responsibility for resin pieces that turn yellow after a short period of time as there is no way to know how much UV sunlight the item/s have been exposed to while in the clients possession and some flowers react differently to resin than others.

On rare-occasions, resin can overheat which causes it to thicken too fast and will need to be discarded. If this happens while in the mould with your flowers, there is a risk of spoiling. I always dry extra flowers than I need, to plan for this event but if I do not have a solution, I will offer a partial/full refund. This will be discussed on an individual basis. I always do my best to prevent this from happening which is why we always dry extra flowers as a caution, but this can happen.

Some flowers will also show signs of bruising and will only be visible when placed in the resin. This can happen at any point from the florist, being held on the day of celebration or in the transit and these flowers cannot be changed over once I have made a start. . Please bare this in mind when you are throwing your bouquet but I personally love the look as it shows character and a sign of a very good day!

I always do my best to use as many of your flowers as possible but I may not be able to use them all as I use the best preserved options only.

If you have chosen a smaller mould and your flowers are larger than the mould, I will need to dismantle your flowers to fit but I will always discuss this with you when I receive the flowers to see if you would like an alternative option. 

Some flowers change colour and shape as they dry. White flowers often turn a little translucent, an off cream colour and sometimes slightly brown.

Again, I will discuss this with you when I receive the flowers but colour and size changing may not be predicted.

Flower preservation is a long delicate process. Please allow up to 6 months for the whole process to be completed. I always do my best to send them sooner, however it is not always possible and during busy periods, it may take even longer. If there is a delay in your product being finished, I will communicate this with you.

I only get your flowers for a short while but you will get to keep them forever.

If the date of your wedding has been changed or the event has been cancelled, I am happy to reschedule at no extra charge.

If you decide not to go ahead with your order after paying your deposit and sending your flowers, you will not be refunded as I would have put aside time in my scheduled and potentially cancelled another order to allow time for yours. If you wish for your flowers to be returned and if it is possible, a fee for the postage will be required.

If I have made a start on your flowers and you have paid the full amount and you cancel your order, you will be charged 50% of the order fee as I would have made a start on the process. I will also not be able to return any flowers as they would not have completed the process and therefore unsalvageable.

Kindly note, returns of the flowers will be dependant on how far in the process I have got should you cancel.

The cost of the shipping to me, will be done at your own expense. It is the clients responsibility to ensure that the flowers arrive in the best possible condition. I will of course provide delivery and care instructions to you when ordering but I cannot be held responsible for any damage caused to your flowers whilst they are in transit. 

If you spend more than £400 at Blooming Resin Design, the cost of the posting back to you will be covered. If you spend less than £400 at Blooming Resin Design, the postage charge will be calculated once your product/s are made and I will ask for this before I post your order to you.

All finished items will be sent using the Royal Mail tracked, next day delivery service to your address which will be pre-arranged with you to ensure your availability. You will be provided a tracking number or receipt where you can check the status of the item and rearrange delivery if necessary. 

I cannot accept responsibility for delivery failure if you provide an incorrect address and /or postcode and/or telephone number please be assured to check this information when placing your order.

If you decide that you wish to book with me, I will require a £50 deposit to secure your wedding date and once I receive your flowers the final balance will be due. 

I understand that on some occasions, payments might be delayed but please communicate this with me so I can protect my time and business. 

Payments can be made securely via a bank transfer (details will be sent) and the work will not commence until payment is received.

If you are hand delivering, you are welcome to bring cash.

We do not currently offer any payment plans.
